Bella, our original Goldendoodle mom, has officially retired from her puppy-rearing days and now enjoys the quieter side of life at 13 years old. After lovingly raising five litters—more than 30 happy, healthy puppies—Bella earned her new title as the resident matriarch.

While she once played the role of “favorite aunt” during puppy socialization weeks, these days she prefers long naps in sunny spots and leisurely strolls around the yard.
Though she’s no longer in the thick of puppy chaos, Bella’s gentle presence and calming spirit still have a way of influencing the next generation. She’s a cherished member of our pack and a constant reminder of the heart and heritage behind Doodles of NC.

Honey is everything we dreamed of when our girls wished they could pick their very own puppy from a litter—and that dream came true! Chosen from one of our very own litters, Honey lives with us full time and has stepped into the paws of our beloved Bella as the next generation of Doodles of NC puppy mentor once the puppies wean from their moms milk.

With a heart as tender as her name, Honey brings warmth, playfulness, and endless patience to every litter she raises. She’s not just a fantastic mom—she’s part of our family, growing up alongside our daughters and sharing in the joy of each new puppy adventure.
