Meet Our "Mother Hen"

In 2017, we promoted our original Goldendoodle Mom, Bella, to "mother hen."  After birthing and caring for five beautiful litters - over 30 perfect puppies(!) - Bella now serves as our pseudo mom. She prefers being referred to as their "favorite aunt" over "grandpup" as she is far too young for that title!

All of our puppy moms stay with their puppies, in our home, for the first 5 weeks. Then they transition back to their guardian homes as the puppies are weaning and preparing for their forever families.  During the last three weeks, prior to puppy pick-up day, Bella teaches the puppies important socialization, grooming and play skills.  Her eyes light up when gets to horse around with all the pups!
