Doodles of NC is a family-owned, boutique breeder located in Burlington, NC. We specialize in breeding beautiful, healthy Medium F-1B Goldendoodle puppies with exceptional temperaments. Our puppies are raised in our home, so that they can become accustomed to living with a family before joining yours.
Interested in a Doodles of NC puppy, but not close enough to travel to our home? No problem. We will fly your Goldendoodle in the care of a personal attendant, who will sit with and care for your puppy in the airplane cabin. We never ship our puppies in a plane's cargo hold, as that can be a frightening experience for a puppy.

What Are Medium Goldendoodles?
Are you searching for a mid-sized dog that you can take on long walks or hikes, but that can still be carried when necessary? Then you'll love our F-1B Medium Goldendoodles, which are a nice blend of Golden Retriever, Toy Poodle, and Standard Poodle. When fully grown, mid-size Goldendoodles weigh between 30 and 50 pounds and stand between 15 and 20 inches tall.
Medium Goldendoodles are beautiful, affectionate, and easy-going. They are also highly intelligent dogs — both Poodles and Golden Retrievers rank high on the list of intelligent dogs. Even better? F-1B Medium Goldendoodles have a wavy or curly coat that is low- to non-shedding, which makes them an excellent choice for families with allergies.

What Is an F-1B Medium Goldendoodle?
Doodles of NC breeds F-1B Goldendoodles exclusively. So, what does that mean? An F-1 Goldendoodle is a first-generation puppy resulting from the breeding of a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. These puppies usually have loose or wavy coats that may shed, some worse than others — but they will still shed less than a Golden Retriever.
F-1B Goldendoodle puppies are what we breed. They are second generation Doodles and are the result of breeding a Goldendoodle with either a Standard or Mini Poodle. This means F-1B puppies are 75% Poodle and 25% Golden Retriever. Because of the increase in Poodle genetics, F-1B puppies have curly or wavy coats that are low- to non-shedding.
What Is an F-2B Medium Goldendoodle?
The F2B Medium Goldendoodle is a carefully crafted second-generation pairing of an F1B Goldendoodle with a F1 Goldendoodle. This fusion of genetics, 65% Poodle and 35% golden retriever, creates a Goldendoodle with charming furnishings that include facial hair resembling a beard, mustache, and expressive eyebrows.
Beyond their captivating looks, these Goldendoodles come with a non-shedding coat inherited from their Poodle side, making them hypoallergenic and ideal companions for those with allergies. These dogs fall within the larger medium-size range, typically weighing between 40 lbs. and 50 lbs., they are perfectly suited for individuals and families who enjoy long walks and outdoor adventures.
